What & Who:

In partnership with the Graduate Student Council (GSC), the Caltech Library is offering a two-day, hands-on Carpentry workshop on research data and software skills for Caltech graduate students. The full workshop agenda is available online from the Caltech Library Github site.  

This training program is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Caltech Moore-Hufstedler Fund

Any remaining registration slots are now open to all members of the Caltech community.  Join the waiting list to get first priority in future library Software and Data Carpentry courses.

When: April 27, 2017 from 9 AM to 5 PM. 

Where: Millikan 9th Floor (MIL 9), Caltech campus

Schedule

RegistrationA registration deposit of $20 is required for each day.  Each registration deposit will be completely refunded upon successful check-in. Registration will also be refundable via cancellation before April 21, 2017 by 5 PM PST.  Each day requires separate registration-- see Data Organization and Version Control (Day 1) for first day registration.

The $20 deposit must be paid to GSC for Data Analysis, Visualization, and Manipulation in Python within 72 hours of registration to hold your reservation.

Your reservation will auto-cancel if you do not make payment to the Graduate Student Council representative within 72 hours.
