This hands-on workshop will step you through creating, setting up, and adding works to your ORCID profile.  Online Research Contributor Identifiers (ORCID iDs) are a universal, standard way of uniquely identifying researchers on the open web.  Each ORCID iD is not only a 16 digit identifier, but also enables researchers to access an ecosystem of services to manage their publications, determine impact, and share information with funders.  We'll discuss the benefits of managing your publications and other works on orcid.org.  By the end of the workshop you will have a complete ORCID profile that will automatically update in the future and see some reasons to use ORCID iDs.

The curriculum for this workshop is available at https://authorcarpentry.github.io/orcid-profile/
