The Caltech Library and the Graduate Studies Office invite graduate students who are writing their dissertations this Fall to join us for a 2 day writing boot camp on September 18-19, 2025 in the Sherman Fairchild Library on the third floor. The boot camp provides a calm, distraction-free environment for writing, along with refreshments and writing and formatting support. Students are expected to attend both days. Over the two days, optional consultations with the Hixon Writing Center and Caltech Librarians will help students address formatting, copyright, data, and writing questions. Signup sheets will be available starting at breakfast of Day 1.

Registration ends Thursday, September 4, 2025 at noon PST.

Note: When registering, you must certify that if selected you will be able to attend the Dissertation Bootcamp on both September 18th (all day) and September 19th (all) day. Please understand the Library will contact your advisor to confirm your availability.
