Hannah Dvorak Carbone, from the Office of Technology Transfer and Corporate Partnerships, will present a review of the patenting process, including changes introduced by the America Invents Act of 2013. This will be followed by a Caltech Librarian presenting a brief overview of patent searching, locating English language patent equivalents, legal status issues, and current awareness techniques. This class is limited to current members of the Caltech on-campus community.
