Caltech Library is hosting its second annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition on April 27, 2017, 2pm - 5pm in Ramo Auditorium. Created by the University of Queensland, the contest challenges final year PhD students to explain their research in an engaging and clear 3-minute talk intended for a non-specialist audience. Participants are allowed to use a single, static Power Point slide, shown at the beginning of the talk.

March 9-April 9: Student registrations and submissions open
April 27, @ 2 pm: Final competition, live in Ramo Auditorium
