Join us for a workshop on making your research software more reusable and citable!  Caltech Library welcomes Daniel S. Katz from the National Center For Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.  Dr. Katz is an author of the Force11 Software Citation Principles (https://www.force11.org/software-citation-principles) and has extensive experience designing research software (http://danielskatz.org/).  The workshop will start with a presentation on research software best practices.  We'll then have a discussion about implementing these principles, including campus resources such as the Caltech Research Data Repository (data.caltech.edu).
