What & Who:

Caltech Library is offering a hands-on Carpentry workshop on research data and software skills for the Caltech community. We'll cover everything you need to know to get started with data analysis and visualization in Python, as well as the tools necessary to do reproducible research.  You don't need to have any previous knowledge of the tools that will be presented at the workshop.  All the details about what we'll cover are available in the full workshop agenda

When: August 16-16, 2017 from 9 AM to noon. 

Where: Sherman Fairchild Library MCR (SFL 328), Caltech campus

Registration: Fill out the registration form below.  In addition, a registration fee of $20 is required.  Coffee, tea, and breakfast food will be provided each day of the workshop. The registration fee is refundable if you cancel your registration before August 6, 2018 at 9 AM PST.

Print your registration confirmation and bring it to the Sherman Fairchild Library Circulation Desk, Monday through Friday (non-holidays) between the hours of 8am and 5pm, to pay the registration fee.  We accept credit cards, checks (made out to Caltech Library), or cash (exact change only).  The $20 registration fee must be paid within 72 hours of registration to hold your reservation.

Your reservation will be cancelled if you do not make a payment within 72 hours.
