The goal of this class is to get attendees started with using ORCID. ORCID is a unique numerical identifier for researchers that is being required by an increasing number of funders and journals. This class will provide hands-on experience for anyone interested in maintaining an ORCID record, either their own or somebody else's. We will cover entering basic information for an ORCID record, adding works to a record from multiple sources, and managing a record over time. We will also demonstrate how to create an NSF or NIH Biosketch based on an ORCID record by using SciENcv.

Please feel free to bring a laptop if you wish to follow along with the lesson.
